tastes surprisingly good. Surely it must be due to the EXTRA VIRGIN olive oil, not just regular olive oil! I find it much better than whatever variety of sardine. SO from now on I will order this. Also mackerel has very good omega 3 so it is healthy as well!

I've had many different brands of canned mackerel, but this is my first time using Wild Planet mackerel. These pretty much taste just like the other quality canned mackerel brands I've tried, so they taste delicious! Not fishy at all and doesn't have a weird aftertaste like Wild Planet Sardines always have. I hope they come out with other flavors by adding ingredients like jalapeno, chili pepper, etc.

always buy sardine by this company; however, decided to try this Wild Mackerel for the fist time, as I did not know how it would taste. I was pleasantly surprised, as I use it the same way I did the canned sardines. The taste was very pleasant and I would definitely buy them, again.

I bought this because it was cheap and I need to spend a few more bucks for the free shipping. I was quite satisfied and will likely buy it again. It wasn't like cheap sardines where the size of the fish barely fits the can. No, the can was completely full of high quality fish. The taste was great and the ingredients simple. I definitely recommend.

Love that it’s wild caught and the tin is BPA free. Great for people with chemical sensitivity or if they just care about their health. Love these products from Wild Planet. Excellent choice for everyone. Good in healthy fats, protein and oils. Very happy with purchase. Makes for a good quick lunch and salad option.

This is one of the highest quality mackerels on the market. They are an excellent source of protein and omega-3s without the worry of heavy metal contamination. On top of that, these cans are BPA free!

Wild caught mackerel rich in omega3… is lower in cholesterol and has a higher amount of potassium and Vitamin D. They are skinless and boneless fillets.

Very tasty mackerel, the fragrance from the olive oil does it just right as well. Only reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars is because, maybe due to my very sensitive stomach, this fish causes me to have some stomach discomfort. Expanding on that, it only happens with the "skinless and boneless" types that Wild Planet offers, like the sardines. The ones with skins and bones in it in olive oil are completely fine; no problem to the stomach whatsoever.

It tastes excellent for canned fish - not too fishy at all. A good alternative to sardines if you have trouble eating them (as I do) but want the health benefits of eating fish.

Good seafood option. I find mackerel less "fishy" than sardines. I love that they are packed in extra virgin olive oil, not cut with any poor oils (like soybean or canola). If this is useful, please give a thumbs-up. Thank you.
