I don't think I can fault the manufacturer because I probably didn't read the description carefully enough. These are hard tablets that are very large and hard to swallow. I typically look for soft-gels because dense tablets don't digest well and much of the product just goes through the digestive tract unabsorbed.

I have used Vit C since the '70's with my mom's reading Adele Davis' books :) I like this pill form of Vit C because it has been the easiest to digest and has had no side effects for me. I believe it is a very complete form of C. Plain asorbic acid causes joint inflamation, and gastric problems. This Vit C is great!
