Cholesterol levels have gone down since taking this together with Alpha Lipoic Acid tablet (different brand). After blood test in Sep 2022 was researching ways to reduce cholesterol and discovered a combination of these two. Have also reduced food intake slightly but my exercise levels remained the same. Obviously, this is not not a scientific-level study but numbers for bad cholesterol have reduced by about 1-3% This has been about 5 months now, so I will re-order and take to make a complete year before my next blood test.

I am sure the quality of the brand, and like the purity of the ingredient and the daily dose. Because FDA or any authorities have not acknowledged its efficacy for cholesterol lowering agent (despite lots of experiments showing the positive results mostly conducted in the staple countries) I didn't want to raise the doss than this minimum. To lower cholesterol, I added my own ways like high intensity exercise and fiber intake, and wow! it paid off. My cholesterol came down to a normal range which doctors was surprised with. I also think this policosanol has contributed to it as well. The pill size was great and very small with no trouble to swallow first thing every morning. I will keep taking it forwards too.
I am done with statins due to the side effects (muscle cramps, stomach ache) so I am taking this together with CoQ10 enzyme. I took twice a day and I can say it work to reduce HDL by 10% which is a lot for me minus the side effect of statins.
