I love the taste and it makes it very convenient to make poke without having to make your own sauce. I do add avocadoes, vegetables like chopped cucumber, seaweed salad, and any favorite fruits such as ripe mangoes or kiwi to make the taste my own. The quality of the ingredients is top notch and the instructions to make the dish is very easy to follow.
This Poke mix is from Noh of Hawai'i. This is the real stuff. Take your mix of raw maguro, salmon, octopus, etc. and cut into small pieces. Throw into a metal bowl. Soak the seaweed for three minutes and cut into small pieces and toss into the bowl. Add the salt and chili pepper mix to the bowl. Add two tablespoons of sesame oil and mix. I prefer to chill it for a couple hours for the flavors to blend. Serve and Enjoy. It's ono (delicious).
To season a Poke Bowl. I added this to cooked rice, diced sashimi tuna and avocado. Made a tasty poke bowl for dinner. Had a refreshing side of cubed cukes and daikon kimchi and everyone was happy. NOH Foods simplifies the process.
