I've tried numerous brands of rice cakes, going on over 50 years, having been a natural food store manager back in the 70's...and no company comes close to Lundberg. There "Thin Stackers" version are good for folks who want less of the hard crunch that their regular (circular) rice cakes offer. These are thinner (as the name implies) and easier to bite into and chew...but still strong enough to be used in a hummus or guac dip. And they literally can last well beyond their best by dates...they might lose some of their crispness after a FEW YEARS :-)...but a 10-15 second zap in the microwave will fix that!
I've always loved rice cakes as a healthy snack. This brand is so delicious. I decided to try this flavor and this one is very tasty as well. I will order this again and also try another flavor. They many flavors. I wish we could buy more than 2 boxes but its okay, I will always keep a stock of them around. Its also a good grab and go snack. The packaging of 6 per pack is very convenient.
Lundberg Thin Stackers Cracked Black Pepper Cakes are a really good vehicle for cheese. They are a pretty good size - about 1/2 a playing card. Low calorie to boot. I do wish they had more cracked black pepper, I could barely detect it in the batch I got hence me only giving it 4*. Also wish they were just a little bit cheaper.
