My girl has struggled with atopic dermatitis all her life and this shampoo actually calmed her skin down and her coat is softer than ever. It smells absolutely divine as well. Salicylic acid helps with exfoliation but the glycerin and a bunch of other emollients in this help moisturise the skin. Alternating this with typical medicated shampoo (which can be drying) would be an excellent idea.
This is a very good shampoo. Unfortunately there is no stock available right now. My dogs itches/allergies are under control wtih this shampoo. Kindly let me know when the stock comes in. Highly Recommended for dogs with allergies and itches.
