For the price, this product doesn't do much. It was recommended that I use it with the protein rich cream, which I did. but honestly i could probably use the cream without it. i think when I use it with a cream, my curls are less defined and frizzy. if I use it by itself, it's supposed to have a light hold but doesnt seem like i put anything on. scent is okay quality is not too good considering the price
