Make my skin really soft and remove make upAfter using for one month I completely changed my mind, its very good for removing make up. I recommend to use while you are showering so it will be more easy for removing make up. At first when i use my skin was irritated but now its fine and really smooth. No scent. I love acure products, they are good quality, good for sensitive skin and cruelty free/vegan.
I work in a natural vitamin/bodycare department and have tried many makeup removers. This is by far the best. I don’t even use a cotton ball; just wet my face, use a very small amount, and it completely removes all of my mascara and makeup with no residue and leaves my face clean and soft. Doesn’t irritate the eyes at all. Love it!
Skin: sensitive, acne-prone (dry at this moment) It has a PAO of 6 months. The ingredients list looks compromising as it has no fragrance, parabens, or essential oil. I tend to analyze the ingredients as I have sensitive skin and had a breakout that lasted for a few years. I have personal requirements for choosing a makeup remover: 1. Able to be used with wet hands/face. I don't want to admit this but I'm quite germophobe. I wash my hands a lot. However, most cleansing oil or balm needs to be used with dry hands/face. 2. List ingredients. I need a simple one or at least no irritating ingredients in the product. 3. Handy packaging. I hate the product in the jar. I prefer a tube or bottle. It is lightweight & easy to handle. I'm not sure about heavy makeup because I only use sunscreen daily. It removes Pipette sunscreen well. No new pimples, redness, etc. As many reviews say that it is easily leaked out, I found it is true. It is understandable as it has a watery texture. So, I put the tube upside down and it helps.
I wear minimal makeup (tinted SPF, liquid blush, brow gel) if I ever do but I wear violently waterproof mascara because my lashes are short, stick-straight, and cannot hold a curl. I have used a lot of eye makeup removers in the past but nothing beats this cleanser. I use this to cleanse and then a reusable makeup round to wipe away any excess.
It has an herbal scent from the natural ingredients, but isn't overpowering. I recommend using it in the shower as I had used it out of the shower and accidentally got some in my eye and it burned for a good half hour or so. It is decent at taking off makeup, but doesn't completely remove it. You would probably have to go over twice with it to get it all off. It has a liquidy gel consistency, so I just angle the tube when dispensing, so it doesn't pour out. Overall I'd say it's a decent makeup remover and I like that it has natural ingredients.
